That afternoon, I walked through the dramatic Siq canyon, captivated by the stunning scenery and intricate carvings etched into rose-colored rock faces. Reaching the iconic Treasury felt like stepping into another world, and I spent hours exploring tombs, temples, and ancient paths. Early the following day, I took a shuttle bus to Little Petra, a lesser-known but equally fascinating site, and began a long and rewarding hike through rugged terrain toward the Monastery, one of Petra’s most breathtaking monuments. The journey offered solitude and incredible panoramic views, making the effort well worth it.
