☆ Petra, Jordan ☆

April 2025

The next morning, I boarded a bus to Wadi Musa, the gateway town to the ancient city of Petra. That afternoon, I walked through the dramatic Siq canyon, captivated by the stunning scenery and intricate carvings etched into rose-colored rock faces. Reaching the iconic Treasury felt like stepping into another world, and I spent hours exploring tombs, temples, and ancient paths. Early the following day, I took a shuttle bus to Little Petra, a lesser-known but equally fascinating site, and began a long and rewarding hike through rugged terrain toward the Monastery, one of Petra’s most breathtaking monuments. The journey offered solitude and incredible panoramic views, making the effort well worth it. As the sun began to set, I caught the last bus to Amman, carrying with me unforgettable memories of Jordan’s timeless wonders. (30 photos)
